Street fundraising’s a million miles away from boring old desk jobs, corporate nine to fives and humdrum bar, pub, club, shop or factory jobs. You can be yourself here. No data inputting required.
Lots of our fundraisers talk about the unpredictability of the job, and all those weird and wonderful experiences out on the street. See our videos. Also, being outside in the summer is a big bonus. Think of the tan.

You chat to all kinds from all walks of life on the street. That’s fun in itself if you’re sociable. Plus you make heaps of new friends. And if that wasn’t enough, having in-depth conversations with all these people can open your horizons and make you see the world in a different way.
Earn good money
We pay very competitive hourly rates, generous team bonuses for good performance and money and time off for helping us recruit people. We DO NOT pay our fundraisers any kind of commission - the cynics are entirely wrong.
The first step in a charity career
The charity sector is notoriously hard to break into. Joining Gift is a brilliant way to gain the skills and experience that will impress future employers. Lots of Gifties have gone on to big jobs in leading charities.

Gift is full of individuals, many with big personalities. But we’re like-minded in lots of ways, which makes for close-knit teams that socialise like there’s no tomorrow. Except there is a tomorrow, and work starts again in the morning!
Socialise like mad
Aside from all the informal socialising, we enjoy regular events - everything from football tournaments, bowling, comedy and music gigs to bingo, dancing or a simple night down the pub. You name it, we’ve done it. If we haven’t, we promise to give it a go soon.
